Grade 4: Creative Arts Activities

INTRODUCTION 

At Grade 4, learners transition into more structured creative learning. The course builds on foundational skills developed in the lower primary years and provides opportunities to explore drawing, painting, colour, pattern, collage, modelling, printing, crafts, music, dance, drama and cultural arts.

Learners are encouraged to observe their environment, generate creative ideas, experiment with materials, solve artistic problems and present their finished work.

The course embraces the Kenyan Competency-Based Education (CBE) approach, emphasizing creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, self-efficacy, cultural awareness and practical application.
