Grade 3: Creative Arts Activities

INTRODUCTION

The course builds on the foundational Creative Arts experiences from Grades 1 and 2 and introduces learners to more structured creative activities in drawing, painting, colouring, collage, modelling, paper crafts, music, movement, dance, drama and cultural appreciation.

Through hands-on projects and guided activities, learners are encouraged to experiment with different materials, develop their own creative ideas, work collaboratively and confidently present their creations.

The course follows the spirit of Kenya’s Competency-Based Education (CBE) by emphasizing practical learning, creativity, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, self-efficacy and appreciation of culture.
