Grade 1: Creative Arts Activities

INTRODUCTION

Based on the Kenyan Grade 1 Creative Activities curriculum, the course provides age-appropriate activities that encourage learners to explore their environment, experiment with materials, express ideas, sing and perform, create individual and group projects, and appreciate their own work and that of others.

Through hands-on learning and locally available materials, learners develop key CBE competencies such as creativity and imagination, communication and collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving, self-efficacy, and learning to learn.
