The Fabric Decoration Creative Bootcamp is a hands-on creative arts program that introduces learners to the exciting world of decorating and transforming fabric into attractive, functional and marketable products. Through practical activities, learners explore different fabric decoration techniques while developing creativity, design skills, patience, precision and confidence.

Participants learn how to work with fabrics, colours, patterns and decorative materials to create unique designs. Depending on their age and skill level, learners are introduced to techniques such as fabric painting, stamping, printing, stenciling, tie-dye, appliqué, fabric embellishment, simple embroidery and decorative finishing.

The Bootcamp encourages learners to experiment, create and develop their own artistic ideas rather than simply copying designs. Through guided projects, they progress from basic decoration techniques to creating personalized items such as decorated bags, T-shirts, wall hangings, fabric accessories, home décor and gift products.

Objectives

By the end of the Bootcamp, Based on the age, learners will be able to:

1. Learn and apply fabric decoration techniques such as painting, printing, stenciling, tie-dye, appliqué and embellishment.
2. Develop creativity and design skills through colours, patterns, textures and original designs.
3. Improve practical skills, fine-motor coordination, precision, patience and attention to detail.
4. Create attractive and functional fabric products for personal use, gifting, decoration and sale.
5. Develop innovation and problem-solving skills through experimentation and product design.
6. Learn basic entrepreneurship, including costing, pricing, branding, packaging and marketing.
7. Build a creative portfolio showcasing completed fabric decoration projects.  
8. Explore creative careers and income-generating opportunities within the textile and creative arts industry.
