Grade 9: Creative Arts and Sports Activities

INTRODUCTION

Grade 9 is an important stage in the Junior School journey. It is a time to discover your strengths, develop your talents and begin thinking about where your interests could take you in the future.

This course takes Creative Arts beyond simply completing school assignments. Here, you will create, experiment, perform, analyze, design, collaborate and showcase your work.

Whether you love drawing, painting, music, dance, drama, crafts, digital creativity or cultural arts, this course gives you a space to explore your potential. The course is developed with reference to the Kenyan Competency-Based Curriculum (CBE) Junior Secondary School Creative Arts curriculum, with an emphasis on practical learning, creativity, inquiry, performance, appreciation, cultural heritage and talent development.
